so.....i kinda planned a 4 day 3 night KL trip which was kinda last minute so tickets cost-ed kinda alot....after buying the tickets, all i had was no more than rm20 so i stayed at home trying to save n not spend...while at home, i spent my time looking for place to stay as kid was staying with his unc, niq was stayin with his parents, alf was stayin at his fren's place and mal would not be at kl till tues which was the 2nd day im there..
so i was kinda shelter-less for a night n i went on9 to look for cheap rooms....came along a backpackers logde, Red Palm which was right near Bukit Bintang plus the pics at their webpage looked nice....was also less than 10 mins walk to sungei wang and only costed rm25 per bed....per bed as i was stayin in the dorm, sharing the room with other strangers...cool huh?? hahaha
so i told tabs bout my trip n she planned to skip class just to accompany me...so i booked two beds at the place...and booking places lk dat without a credit card was a bitch...but i managed by calling them...emailing them.....den confirm again la...
staying alone and bring short of cash, i name my trip "operation fallen eagle" hahaha
after having managed to book the beds, i have only collected around rm100 but was lucky as my aunt from miri came bac for a visit....then there was a family gathering....news spreads and money came in from all the aunties hahahhha =D
Day 1
>got my stuff packed and went down to have breakfast before i left to the airport....was surprised to c my aunts all gathering below to meet before an outing later with my mum....dats where a lil more spending money came in hahahhaha
>reached the airport and had texted mal for mal for an update of his arrival time in tues but was told he was gonna be at kl till thurs ...which was the day im leavin and thus, lost my place to stay...and tabs also had last minute plan changes and could not stay the night with me as she had presentation the nex day....
>so made alot of phone calls...here, there, to almost everyone who could "possibly" help...called Red Palm but they were all booked out till the nex week...finally called alif n had permission to crash at his fren's place for the rest of the days i was there...Bong was however, kind enough to stay over for the night to replace tabs so i had a companion...
>in the plane, i seated alone by the window and one old ahma n her grandson joined me...during the whole trip, the ahma asked the boy if he wanted to pee but the boy didn want to till 10 mins before arrival when we all had to be seated....so the ahma asked the boy to tahan...n he did....till the plane stopped and everyone was up n ready to go....at than point the boy could not tahan no more...so the ahma took out a plastic bag and the boy did his business in the bag...not only he peed in the bag but was kind enough to pee on the chair as well hahhahahaha so the chair was full of pee n the ahma had to wipe it up yucks!!! hahaha
>dealt with it..haha n left to KL sentral wher i met Bong n tabs who was kind enough jus to hang out for the day....checked-in immediately at Red Palm n left to jalan-jalan while bong showed me around bb plaza, sungei wang and pavilion....left tabs by 9 n was bac to the lodge before goin out for another walk till 11....
>when i was out walking, i called alif to confirm a place to meet before crashing at his fren's place...turns out, plans changed....i could not stay ther no more.....so i was again...shelter-less for the next 2 nights....
>got bac...watched a lil tv n headed to bed....when i was in bed already, bong n i could hear moans from the 2 Taiwanese girls who stayed in the 2 bed room....MOANS!!!!!! u know y lah hahahahahha.... wasn able to sleep cos of the place to stay thingy so i went down to have a cup of water at the "lepak area"....ther, i met john, sofie, another dude and his sis....talk here n there n told them bout my problem....then was bac off to bed...

Day 2
>woke up uber early as i wanted to look for a place to stay....went down...had breakfast n then sofie introduced me to another lodging house, Travelers' Palm.....was interested n kinda lazy to look so i checked the place up after goin out for a short walk with bong before he had to leave for classes at 12.
>checked the place out....din really lk the place at first but it was a place to stay and it charged the same price for a bed in the dorm....so i checked in n was out again for a walk around...
>covered Lot 10, Times Square and Low Yat and was back by 6 as it started to rain.....
>the rain poured real bad and was able to go out n grab dinner so i stayed bac n watch tv while i chit chatted around.....there, i got to know suzy, the owner of the place....turns out she was an air stewardess for MAS before opening up the lodge...she so happens to be close frens with sofie from Palm Lodge....came to know that most of the lodges were set up among frens and also got to know that rental there was as high as rm4000....

>after the chit chat, i took my bath n then hung around a lil more before the rain stopped, got to know andre, from UK n was out to buy dinner.......Andre, is this middle aged man from UK stayin at france and has been backpacking around S.E.Asia for almost 7 months...M'sia was his lat lost before goin bac to France again....
>tapau-ed dry mee...which was so so so tasteless...n had a "chill-out" session at the "lepak area".....got to know a chinese dude from Melaka who was on holiday for bout a month and was staying at the lodge and Daniella, who was from Stuttgart, Germany...she has been travelling around S.E.Asia as well but only for 3 months....i also got to know that she had only brought 1500 euros which was around 5500 ringgit for the whole backpacking trip....damn budget i tell u hhahaha Daniella also lost a place to stay at kl...she was previously also from Red Palm before moving to Traveler's Palm...hahahaha

Day 3
>had breakfast, planned wher i wanna go n was out walking by 10...
>went over to klcc wher i shopped for toiletries as i was "borrowing" them for the past few days hahahahha..
>after klcc, i took a bus to megamall....buses there are real cheap....with Rapid KL, it just takes rm2 to use the bus from the same comp all over n over again for the whole day....so i reached megamall.....walked around n got myself lost cos the place was too darn huge!!!! things became hectic there as the atm card i had could not be used and aman could not bank in money for me to help buy something n i could not took out any money....
>called my mum, got things settled, took the money n went to wait for the next bus to bukit bintang.....waited a whole hour as the buses to bukit bintang did not wanna take any passengers even as it was empty....prob cos of the price hike of fuel the next day hahahha

>so i waited n waited till i could not wait no more n just simply took another Rapid KL bus which was heading to KL Sentral....n on the way...i passed by Petaling Street n decided to drop off...
>walked a round, bought a watch for dad n it started to rain....i ran to the bus stop to wait for a bus....i waited 45 mins or so n got fed up....again, i randomly took a Rapid KL bus...hahaha tode along till i could see a monorail station n took the monorail bac to Bukit Bintang.
>before reachin the lodge, i bought dinner, afraid it was gonna rain again....had dinner n talked summore with the chinese dude n Daniella before i went to take my bath...
>wanted to go for a final night walk before Mal called n said he was in KL and in Pavilion already...so i walked ahead to Pavilion, met up with him n had a drink and seesha at Bb Walk...
>hung a lil while, went to pee n kid came along with 2 of his friends....hung out till 3am....got somethin n went bac to sleep haha

Day 4
>had breakfast, packed n was out for a final walk n was bac to get ready to leave....
>reached the Lcct, checked in, got bac to Kch n Operation Fallen Eagle was a success =D
backpacking at KL was the bomb!!! cant wait for my next backpacking trip....i dunno when tho...prob dats y hahahaha meetin new people, sharing experience, idea and all was fun n cool....aihhhhhh seriously cant wait hahahaha id sure return to Red Palm n Travelers Lodge. Travelers lodge ended up a homely place to stay.....it was more quite compared to Red Palm....jus so u noe lah....
support cheap traveling....support backpacking!!! huhu~~~ hahahaha
n i got home n everyone was talking bout the fuel price hike....even mum n dad tagged along to fill up their tanks...hahahha
Vote Pakatan Rakyat!!! towards the reformation!!! huhu ahahahahahha then prob we'd get cheaper fuel hahahhaa
